Hello!!!!
To the new sec 1s: WELCOME TO PWS!!! And of course welcome to the very awesome saxophone/oboe section :)
This year would be another year with different kinds of activities lined up for you guys~
Like the annual speech day parade, band camp, NBC/SIBF, Juniors Band in Concert probably later in the year, and if we're lucky enough, we'd be able to go for an overseas trip as a band ^^
For now, the only confirmed event is the BAND CAMP. from the 9th March to 11th March.
WHOOHOO! How exciting is that?!?!?!?! :D
For now, please practice Blue Sky and Sunshine (for sec TWOS), The Winds of Power and Nestorian Monument for seniors Sec 3 and above. Mr Lim will be choosing pieces to play for the competition later this year, so please take every piece seriously and practice them :)

JBIC is on the 15th November, one day before the ensemble competition!
Okay... So... HI :D
The ensemble competition will be on the 16th november, and the JBIC will be on the 11th November. So there's 79 more days to Ensemble competition, and 73 more days till JBIC. There are actually lesser days than these, taking into considerations the exam break. So please practice properly with a tuner and metronome!
Sec ones, it's your first concert and you guys wouldn't want to be playing badly for it right? You guys will be playing in front of the seniors and other school bands, so work hard and do us proud!! :)
Seniors, this competition is a section thing and there will be points awarded to our playing. Let's score well in the competition and make the conductors and teachers proud!! :)

Please continue to work hard and show everyone why Peirce Wind Symphony's Saxophone section is the best! Aiya, don't know what to type here. Anyway still got a few months in school to see you guys regularly.

We are a bunch of saxophonists and oboists from Peirce Wind Symphony! Quite obvious right?
We love to play our saxophones and oboes. Well. Except for sometimes.
The saxophonists wants a soprano saxophone. Care to donate?
We would also like to kill all our running notes when it's available! Yes, even the baritone has them sometimes.
Most of all, we would want ourselves to stay happy and strong as a section.
