Yes, very long since I posted. Tag more yeah?
We got a Silver for NBC. Old news, I know. But are you guys truly satisfied? You know we could have gotten gold, seeing that we can get 78.33% with that standard. Now, our next goal is SYF'11. Treat all the events in between as fun and to better prepare yourselves for SYF, whether in discipline, music, whatever. Gold is certainly achievable next year. But remember, it is the PROCESS that matters most. If we do get Gold *crosses fingers* next year, we must remember that we were only a Gold band for that time on stage.
We were a Silver band on the NBC stage. But on the SYF stage, we are most probably Bronze. Get it? Time to buck up. We are far from good.
Heh, I feel like an arrogant idiot typing this. I know you guys think that I am good *blushes*. So what? In order for the section to improve, you must be better than me. Or at least be up to my level. I'm not fantastic. There are thousands of saxophonists out there better than me.
Next event is the MacRitchie performance. And for the sec 1s, you have the Junior Band Festival too! Make us proud eh. I
